Credits and identity
Underleaf is a project by Roberto Falconi, under the developer/publisher name Falkons Milkspill.
Website images
The images of Emanuela’s garden are previews of maps in the project. The creature images are renders of models in development, not screenshots from a released version. The five species icons come from the game’s interface.
The images have been resized and compressed for the web. Photographs used as modeling references are not republished on this website.
Ant and Argiope
Base models and rigs by Nik Kottmann: Ant (Rigged) and Spider (Rigged, Animated & Fur), released under CC0 1.0. The renders show the adaptations made for Underleaf.
Praying mantis
The model’s geometry incorporates micro-CT data from a mantis nymph by V. Jeladze, O. R. Felipe, I. Josipovic, M. Boone and A. Thielens. Source: DOI 10.5281/zenodo.12784447, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International. The data was adapted for the nymph’s geometry and the adult’s head, thorax and legs in the game model; the render has been resized and compressed for the website.
The forewing’s base color comes from a photograph by en57, iNaturalist observation 237650313, released under CC0 1.0.
Rhinoceros beetle
A render of the Underleaf project model on test terrain. The photographs used as modeling references are not included on the website.
Website logo
The website uses the official Underleaf artwork: the U beneath a leaf, from the game’s Marketing materials. The 128 × 128 PNG is the Epic Account Services version.
